Chalets Lacuzon

Which chalet to choose for several families?

En suite bedroom in chalets Lacuzon

Our chalets suit both several families sharing one roof and groups of friends spending a week together. In both cases, what matters is the same: enough bedrooms with a private bathroom so everyone keeps their own space, large shared areas to come together, and above all a chalet at the foot of the slopes — because either way, skiing is what brings you here.

How many bedrooms, for how many people?

    • 8 to 12 people: a 6-bedroom chalet is plenty.
    • 12 to 14 people: a 6-7 bedroom chalet gives everyone their own space.
    • 15 to 17 people: an 8-bedroom chalet keeps everyone’s privacy.

What really matters when sharing a chalet between several households

    • An en-suite bathroom for most bedrooms — handy whether you’re travelling as families or friends, so everyone keeps their own morning routine.
    • A large living room and dining room where everyone fits round the table at the same time, for meals and evenings together.
    • A private hot tub and sauna, shared between you but never with other guests.
    • Direct access to the slopes — the most important point, whether you’re a family or a group of friends: everyone skis at their own level and pace, and it’s easy for everyone to get back to the chalet at the end of the day.

Ski-in/ski-out: what really matters, family or friends

Our chalets are all in Le Bettaix, 150-200 metres from the Bettex chairlift, which opens onto the 3 Valleys ski area — 600 km of pistes linking Les Menuires, Val Thorens, Méribel and Courchevel. You can ski back down on a blue run suitable for all levels. Whether you’re travelling as a family with children at the ESF, or with friends of different ski levels, no one needs to wait for the others at the bottom of the slopes: everyone gets back to the chalet at their own pace, without depending on a car.

    Our take

We’re Katia and Cédric, and we regularly welcome several families together, or groups of friends, in the same chalet — either way, it’s skiing that brings everyone together. Do get in touch and let us know about your group, and we’ll point you towards the chalet that suits you best.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Which chalet should we choose to accommodate several families or a group of friends in Les Menuires?
For 8 to 12 people, a 6-bedroom chalet like Snow Paradise is plenty. For a larger group, go for a 7 or 8-bedroom chalet like Chalet 3 Vallées, Snow Valley or Snow Star.
How many bedrooms do we need for a group of several families or friends?
Allow one to two bedrooms per family or couple. For 8 to 12 people, 6 bedrooms are usually enough. For 12 to 14 people we recommend 7 bedrooms. For a group of 15 to 17 people, an 8-bedroom chalet is more comfortable.
Are the chalets really at the foot of the slopes?
Yes, all our chalets are in Le Bettaix, 150-200 metres from the Bettex chairlift, which gives access to the 3 Valleys ski area in a few minutes. You can ski back down on a blue run suitable for all levels.
Does every bedroom have its own bathroom?
In the vast majority of our chalets, every bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom, handy whether you’re travelling as families or friends.
Do your chalets also suit groups of friends, not just families?
Yes, our chalets suit groups of friends just as well as families. It works the same way: bedrooms with private bathrooms, shared living spaces, and direct access to the slopes.
